Dire Literary Series

The Dire Literary Series is pleased to welcome writers, Margaret Malone, author of PEOPLE LIKE US, Jane Liddle, author of MURDER, and Sandra Story, author of EVERY STATE HAS ITS OWN LIGHT for an evening of poetry and prose.

After these featured authors, host Timothy Gager will open the mic to audience members. Featured writers read at 7PM. Open-mic sign-ups begin at 6PM.

Margaret Malone is the author of the story collection PEOPLE LIKE YOU from Atelier26. Her writing has appeared in The Missouri Review, Oregon Humanities, Propeller Quarterly, Coal City Review, Swink, latimes.com, and elsewhere. 

Jane Liddle is a writer, reader, and a friend to birds. her short-story collection MURDER is available at 421atlanta.com.

Sandra Storey’s first full-length poetry collection, EVERY STATE HAS ITS OWN LIGHT, was published by Word Poetry imprint of WordTech Communications in November, 2014. The collection was a finalist for the May Swenson Award.
