emersonWRITES offers free Creative Writing Courses to Boston Public High School students. Courses are taught by graduate students trained in Emerson College’s First-Year Writing Program. Students are offered courses in poetry, fiction, nonfiction, as well as multi-genre and multi-language courses. Courses are held on Saturdays from 10am-12pm, followed by an open-mic free lunch from 12-1, beginning Oct. 17 and ending December 12.
