Literary Trivia

July 27, 2017 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$15

It’s the team event you’ve been training for your whole life (or at least since your first-year literature seminar): the BBF’s annual Literary Pub Trivia! Join us at 6pm on Thursday, July 27 at Trident Booksellers and Café for this year’s edition. Our host for the evening is the charming and satin-voiced Jack Lepiarz of 90.9 WBUR, who will be serving up questions on all things bookish, from Aesop’s Fables to Zadie Smith. Put together a team (6 people max!) or meet some fellow trivia-minded ragamuffins on our Dickensian Orphans team. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the tasty menu at Trident. Prizes for the top scoring teams (plus the best team name) will be donated by the BBF, area booksellers, and other partners, but the real reward is bragging rights until we do this again next year!

Did You Know?

Certain books were “banned in Boston” at least as far back as 1651, when one William Pynchon wrote a book criticizing Puritanism.
