Past, Present & Future of Libraries: Conversation w/ Author MATTHEW BATTLES

April 9, 2018 | 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Libraries Without Borders invites you to join us for an intimate discussion with author MATTHEW BATTLES about his book Library: An Unquiet History.

Battles will share insights about his research into how libraries have “not only accumulated and preserved, but also controlled, inspired, shaped, hidden, and obliterated knowledge.” We will then have an open exchange of ideas about the past, present, and future of libraries.

Attendees will receive a signed copy of the book. Any proceeds from this event will go to support Libraries Without Borders’ efforts to expand the accessibility of reliable information around the world.

Doors open at 6:00PM with a cash bar. The presentation and discussion will begin promptly at 6:30PM.
