Fred Marchant is Suffolk University English professor emeritus and director of DAY ONE: The Poetry Project. He is the author of four poetry collections, including The Looking House and Full Moon Boat, and the editor of Another World Instead: The Early Poems of William Stafford, 1937-1947.
