Sara B. Fraser discusses her debut novel, LONG DIVISION at Belmont Public Library

November 4, 2019 | 11:00 am

Free

Belmont author Sara B. Fraser will speak on her debut novel Long Division, published this year by Black Rose Writing.  In this novel, Leigh Fortune reckons with the fallout of her mother’s choices while her grandmother comes to terms with the role she played in the family’s unraveling.  Kirkus Reviews says of Long Division:  ‘Fraser has an excellent sense of place, and her Cape Cod and North Shore settings are alive with detail…A troubled woman makes peace with her family in this well-written and introspective novel.’
Sara B. Fraser is a Belmont resident and a teacher at Belmont High School.  Her fiction has appeared in various literary magazines.    All are welcome to attend this free program, sponsored by the Friends of the Belmont Public Library.  Refreshments will be provided.  Books will be available for purchase and signing.
