Saturday Morning Storytime: Susan Tan at The Silver Unicorn

November 30, 2019 | 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Free

It is a delight to welcome Susan Tan back to our store for Saturday Morning Storytime! You might know Susan’s work from her wonderful Cilla Lee-Jenkins series. Susan is back to introduce us to a new character, Emmy, in the new book Piece by Piece.

Emmy loses her beloved blanket, made especially for her by her Nainai, on a trip to the Peabody Essex Museum. Looking high and low, she winds up on a magical journey of discovery and wonder. Exploring the museum’s Chinese house, Yin Yu Tang, she finds a place reminiscent of her grandmother and their special bond. But will she find her blanket before it’s too late? Remembering Nainai’s wisdom, she has not only good luck but the love of her family, too.

This will be the perfect way to spend Saturday morning, especiallyafter the big Thanksgiving feast! And, if you’ve still got family in town, this might be the perfect inspiration for visiting the Museum after seeing us!
