Spare Change News Poems: An Anthology by Homeless People and those Touched by Homelessness

Spare Change News was founded in 1992 and since its inception has worked to elevate the voices of the homeless and economically disadvantaged people in the Boston area. Our anthology  includes a selection of poems that have been published in the paper over the last 15 years.

This is an anthology with over 70 poets, spanning well known poets like Martin Espada and Marge Piercy to people who have never been published. Eight poets featured in Spare Change News Poems will read. The co-editors, Lee Varon and Marc Goldfinger, are widely published in the Boston area.
