Trappist Beer Travels: Inside the Breweries of the Monasteries!

November 5, 2017 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Trident Booksellers and Cafe is excited to host the authors of Trappist Beer Travels: Inside the Breweries of the Monasteries.

This combination beer journal, history book, and travelogue grants readers rare access inside monastery walls for an in-depth look at the legendary breweries of Trappist monks.

To craft the book, authors Caroline Wallace, Sarah Wood and Jessica Deahl journeyed thousands of miles together, from the United States to Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Italy, and back again, for the complete tour of the world’s 11 Authentic Trappist monastery breweries.

Written with a reverence informed by the brewery directors and monks themselves, Trappist Beer Travels takes readers inside each abbey’s unique history and brewing culture. The book is brimming with new and historical photography, original artwork, and helpful travel tips along the way.

Come out and meet the authors, pick up a signed copy of the book and enjoy samples from Spencer Brewery, the United State’s only Authentic Trappist Brewery!
