Usha Venkatraman Featured at Story Space

Usha Venkatraman:
Fearless princesses, a beautiful cockroach with a street smart granny, and wonderfully quirky kings and queens – this is the world of Usha Venkatraman, a spoken word Storyteller, who weaves magic with her words. Her puppetry skills makes her tales more fascinating Usha is Mumbai’s award winning & leading Storyteller and a self-taught puppeteer with over 23 years of experience, performing traditional stories, folktales, and myths. Usha has performed at various festivals in India, including the Bookaroo International Children’s festival, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival, the Chennai Storytelling Festival, and the Kathakar International Storytelling Festival New Delhi. Internationally, Usha has performed in Sweden, Hawaii, New York, Singapore, and Sydney.

Open Telling starts at 7:00pm sharp, followed by the Featured Teller.

No meat, please! • Allergy Free: HS is a Non-Smoking place. Also, please avoid bringing pets or wearing strong scents such as perfume, cologne, or after shave.
