The Rise of Modern Jewish Literature Out of the Yiddish Tradition

Join SHARON HART-GREEN for a program that will address the diverse factors that led to the creation of a Jewish literary canon in the modern period. Sharon Hart-Green received her PhD in Judaic Studies from Brandeis University and has taught Hebrew and Yiddish literature at the University of Toronto for many years. She is the author of the novel, Come Back for Me, a story about the lingering effects of the Holocaust on two families–one in Europe, the other in Canada. A book signing will follow with books provided by Wellesley Books.
