Boston Film Gala (BFG) is unlike any other film festival. BFG presents filmmakers with opportunities to showcase their work, connect to their audience, and share resources within their industry to build a stronger East Coast film community.
This year, BFG has expanded to a two-day weekend event, includes feature length films, more filmmaker Q&As, and a Gala to celebrate local talent.
BFG will also donate a portion of the proceeds to Project Hope (lifting families out of poverty and homelessness) and will be opening their lobby to showcase local and student artists.
Certain books were “banned in Boston” at least as far back as 1651, when one William Pynchon wrote a book criticizing Puritanism.
