Join us at the Book Fair Saturday, October 17th from 1:00-3:00pm for an afternoon meet-and-greet with Matthew Sisson, author of the poetry collection Please, Call Me Moby.
Please, Call Me Moby was written over a period of 14 years. Poems from the collection have appeared in magazines and journals ranging from the Harvard Review Online to the Journal of the American Medical Association. Theme-wise they run from the Binding of Isaac to diabetes. Mr. Sisson has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and is the former Poetry Editor of the trade magazine Modern Steel Construction.
Certain books were “banned in Boston” at least as far back as 1651, when one William Pynchon wrote a book criticizing Puritanism.
