Bring the kids to Copley Square on Saturday, June 4th for a full day of family fun at Hubbub, brought to you by the Boston Book Festival! Featuring Wimpy Kid author Jeff Kinney, hilarious theater group The Story Pirates, and live music on the outdoor stage. We’ll have puppets big and little, a scavenger hunt, science experiments, costume characters, circus classes, writing and drawing workshops, and many more surprises around every corner of Copley Square! It’s a great way to kick off a summer chock-full of creative commotion.
Certain books were “banned in Boston” at least as far back as 1651, when one William Pynchon wrote a book criticizing Puritanism.
