Eli Gottlieb’s Best Boy – Talk/Signing + Benefit for The Price Center

September 16, 2015 | 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join us at the New England Mobile Book Fair on Wednesday, September 16th from 7:00-8:00pm for an evening with Eli Gottlieb, author of Best Boy. He will be discussing his work and signing copies for a cause. Proceeds from each purchase of Best Boy will go to The Price Center, which is committed to providing services and accessible care to developmentally disabled adults and teens throughout the Boston area.

Eli Gottlieb won the American Academy of Arts and Letters’ Rome Prize for his debut novel, The Boy Who Went Away, which was also named a New York Times Notable Book. Nearly two decades later he returns to the subject of autism in Best Boy, his fourth novel. Written in the first-person perspective of an autistic, adult man, Best Boy is an achingly funny, finally shattering novel no reader can ever forget.
