James_BPLJoin us in the Abbey Room at the Boston Public Library as Emerson College students bring to life one of Roald Dahl’s greatest childrens’ books – James and the Giant Peach!

This one-time performance is free and open to the public, welcoming people of ages 1 – 100!

Kidding Around brings to life Roald Dahl’s classic story James and the Giant Peach! With puppets, music, and some boiled crocodile tongues, we introduce you to James Henry Trotter. Orphaned by a rhinoceros, James lives with his terrible Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker until one day something magnificent happens and the decrepit peach tree produces the biggest, fattest, juiciest peach in all of England! Journey with The Centipede, Ladybird, Old Green Grasshopper, Spider, Earthworm, and James as they travel across the ocean in the Giant Peach!
