Shakespeare on the Common– For Kids!

July 8, 2016 | 11:45 am - 2:00 pm

The producers of free Shakespeare on the Boston Common presents “Henry,” an original performance piece for elementary aged audiences, adapted from Shakespeare’s Henry IV, 1, 2 and Henry V.

This show modernizes content, themes and characters from these three plays to highlight the importance of decision-making in the face of peer-pressure. Audiences will join young Henry on an interactive adventure from his father’s grocery store to the battle field of Agin-food-court and back. We’ll work together to make the right choices and maybe even ending up as soldiers in his food-fight army!
