Sixth Annual Boston Book Festival

October 23, 2014 - October 25, 2014

At a variety of sites in and around Copley Square.

Highlights this year include keynote presentations by jazz legend Herbie Hancock (10/23 at 8pm at Old South Church); award-winning novelist Susan Minot (10/24 at 8pm at Old South Church); bestselling children’s author Rick Riordan (10/25 at 10:45am at Trinity Church); Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Doris Kearns Goodwin (10/25 at 2:15pm at Trinity Church); and world-renowned architect Sir Norman Foster (10/25 at 4pm at Trinity Church). Other activities include a street festival with live music, food trucks, and over 75 exhibitors, a costume parade for kids, and more than five dozen panels and presentations on everything from poetry and young adult literature to cognitive science and technology. New this year, we’re celebrating the launch of Boston’s Literary Cultural District by partnering with Boston By Foot to offer literary walking tours of the Back Bay.
