This international, always-eclectic show includes poetry set to unusual music forms. Examples include “Together,” by Olivia Perez Collellmir (Spain), with vocalist Vasundhara Gupta (India), and “Spring Will Not Be Silent,” by Berklee professor and poet Lucy Holstedt (U.S.), with vocalist Maureen McMullen (Scotland). There are a total of 11 original acts, in a wide variety of styles. Men are included in the show, but the focus is on women: as writers, composers, arrangers, and bandleaders. Probably the most diverse show you will ever see.
Certain books were “banned in Boston” at least as far back as 1651, when one William Pynchon wrote a book criticizing Puritanism.
