Trident Booksellers is pleased to host Jonathan Escoffery, Sarah Green, and Sonya Larson for a night of poetry, prose, and cold beer.
Jonathan Escoffery’s stories have appeared in The Caribbean Writer, Salt Hill Journal, Pangyrus, Middle Gray Magazine, and elsewhere. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota’s MFA (Fiction).
Sarah Green is the author of Earth Science (421 Atlanta), her recently released full-length poetry debut, and Skeleton Evenings (Finishing Line Press), a poetry chapbook that won the 2014 New Women’s Voices Series Prize.
Sonya Larson’s short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in American Short Fiction, the American Literary Review, Poets & Writers, Audible.com, West Branch, Del Sol Review, The Red Mountain Review, and The Hub, and have been honored by Best American Short Stories 2015, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, among others.
Certain books were “banned in Boston” at least as far back as 1651, when one William Pynchon wrote a book criticizing Puritanism.
